Which One Should You Choose?
Choose the Comfort Assessment if:
- You’re mainly dealing with comfort problems (drafts, rooms that are always too hot or too cold, stuffy areas, etc.)
- You want to find and fix the specific places your home is leaking air so you can feel more comfortable year-round
- You’re looking for targeted solutions without the full efficiency analysis
Choose the Energy Audit if:
- You want everything the Comfort Assessment offers plus a complete picture of how efficiently your home is performing
- You’re interested in lowering your monthly energy bills and seeing estimated dollar savings from improvements
- You’d like safety testing on your heating equipment and a full breakdown of where your home is wasting energy (including appliances and lighting)
Quick Rule of Thumb: If your main goal is
feeling more comfortable, start with the Comfort Assessment. If you also want to
save money on energy bills and understand your home’s full efficiency picture, the Energy Audit is the better choice.
